We are proud to manufacture some of the highest-quality natural hardwood mulches in the multi-state region. Our two natural mulch products are made from 100% hardwood bark – starting with best quality raw material from our forestry partners in NW Pennsylvania. Our double-ground hardwood bark mulch is our 2nd most popular product. This product is ground once, aged 3 months, ground a second time, and aged 8 more months before it’s ready for sale. This natural aging process and subsequent decomposition process gives the mulch a beautiful, natural, dark color. Our more premium hardwood bark mulch is our PA Gold. This product is the result of an even longer aging and decomposition process. Simply stated, PA Gold is our hardwood bark mulch aged for an additional 9-12 months. It is darker and more fine that our hardwood mulch.
